Billing, Cancellation & Downgrade

1. Monthly subscription

Enhanced membership is billed monthly in advance. Applicable GST/HST/PST is calculated at checkout based on your billing province via Stripe Tax.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future billing. The current paid period is not pro-rated, as platform and advertising costs are incurred during the period.

3. What happens on cancellation (auto-downgrade)

When a subscription ends, the enhanced presentation is removed and the listing returns to its standard free public state. No public fact is added, removed, or altered by this change — only the optional presentation features are switched off. Your underlying public record is unchanged.

4. Refunds

Past months are non-refundable. If you believe you were billed in error, contact registry@knowyourprofessional.ca and we will investigate.
